From 'Pharma-Fraud' to 'Pharma-Terror'

Over the past two years, Dr. Matthias Rath has consistently exposed the pharmaceutical industry as the largest corporate beneficiary of the war against Iraq and the “war against terror” led by the Bush administration.

Everything Dr. Rath has predicted has come true. For three years, these wars have effectively diverted public attention from the near collapse of the drug investment business brought about by the withdrawal of Bayer’s deadly cholesterol drug Baycol in August 2001. Now the withdrawal of Merck’s Vioxx has started the final meltdown of the trilliondollar drug business fraud.

In 2001, the collapse of the entire drug investment business was delayed by the occurrence of the 9/11 tragedy. Now nothing can delay its disintegration any longer - other than a catastrophe to dwarf the tragedy of 9/11.

George Bush - Do Not Start World War III

The world is on the brink of World War III. Never before in history has a war with weapons of mass destruction been so likely than in the next few weeks. The greatest threat to trigger such a war does not come from a group of terrorists hidden in the Hindu Kush mountains. It comes from the Bush administration. For the next four weeks, no one anywhere in the world has a greater interest in an escalating international crisis and a new war than the Bush administration.

The Bush administration has a problem that it cannot solve in any other way: the imminent breakdown of the multi-trillion dollar pharmaceutical industry from an avalanche of product liability lawsuits.

Questions to George Bush

George Bush, you have to answer some urgent questions for the American people and the world:

* Why do you protect an industry that is responsible for the deaths of millions of people in America?
* Why do you divert billions of tax dollars assigned to improve the health of your countrymen into the pockets of drug billionaires making their fortunes from the continuation of preventable diseases?
* What will be your plan to avert the collapse of the drug industry after the Merck/Vioxx scandal?
* Did you not learn in early August 2001 that the pharmaceutical giant Bayer had to withdraw its flagship drug Baycol because of its deadly side effects? Didn’t you know what everybody else did, that ruinous lawsuits were being filed against Bayer and other major drug companies?
* And, in the middle of this crisis for the drug industry, on August 5, 2001, didn’t you receive the now infamous Presidential Daily Brief, “Bin Laden to Attack the United States”? Why did you decide to do nothing?
* Why were the ongoing FBI investigations in Summer 2001 “blocked at the highest level”?
* Were you deliberately allowing this tragedy to happen to create a media diversion to ensure the survival of the sinking pharmaceutical investment business?
* With your conduct already exposed by the 9/11 Commission, what will the American people say now that they have learned about your motives?
* With an even bigger threat now posed to the survival of the drug business, are you planning an even bigger scam than you pulled over 9/11?
* Are you really ready to sacrifice the lives of millions of people in a world war launched in the interest of the pharmaceutical investment industry you represent?

The withdrawal of Merck’s Vioxx because of fatal side effects in potentially tens of thousands of patients is just the beginning. Almost all synthetic pharmaceutical drugs have life-threatening side effects, and their manufacturers will eventually have to pay hundreds of billions of dollars in damages to drug-injured patients and their families.

The class action lawsuits against the pharmaceutical industry will dwarf those brought against the tobacco industry for the harm cigarette smoking did to the health of millions of people and to the economies of entire states.

Already now, millions of patients across America have lost confidence in pharmaceutical drugs, and their doctors are asking urgent questions of the drug makers. The full scale of this imminent collapse is revealed by the following fact: According to the Journal of the American Medical Association of April 15, 1998, the known deadly side effects from pharmaceutical drugs were then already the fourth leading cause of death in America.

Thousands of future lawsuits against drug makers will unmask the financial interest groups behind the pharmaceutical investment business. It will be found that the pharmaceutical industry is no health industry, but an investment business. Its business strategy is a giant fraud scheme: While it deceptively promises health to millions of people, the return on investment of this industry depends on the continuation and expansion of diseases. Vioxx is not the exception: it is the rule.

These lawsuits will also reveal that the financial interest groups behind this drug investment business have systematically sought to discredit and even outlaw effective and safe natural health therapies for one reason only: they are not patentable, and they threaten the pharmaceutical investment business based exclusively on patented synthetic drugs.

These lawsuits will open the eyes of the people of America and the entire world to the fact that for a century, millions of people in America and billions around the world have unnecessarily died for one reason only: the financial greed of the special interest groups that the Bush administration represents.

To make things worse, the pharmaceutical industry was the largest corporate sponsor of Bush’s presidential election campaign with a clear mandate: to protect it from product liability lawsuits at all costs. Under the deceptive cover of “medical liability reform” and hidden within the “Patriot Act,” the Bush administration tried to deliver this “survival kit” to the drug business. But the people of America did not fall for this unscrupulous plan.

Now the worst nightmare has come true for the Bush administration and the special interests it represents. Left without an umbrella of protectionist laws, the drug industry that has maintained diseases among millions of people for the financial gain of a few will finally be terminated by its victims.

Only in the shadow of a tragedy surpassing the horror of 9/11 by an order of magnitude can the Bush administration hold on to power - even without elections. And its first “martial law” will be a “drug maker survival kit,” protecting the drug cartel from patient lawsuits.

Instructions to George Bush

Here is what you will do, George Bush:

1. You will not risk another tragedy like 9/11 happening again to draw public attention away from the meltdown of the fraudulent “business with disease.”
2. You will distance yourself from the contingency plans of Attorney General John Ashcroft, who in July of this year already started preparing to cancel the November elections under the pretense of a so-called “emergency.” Your administration will not seize dictatorial power through a “coup d’etat” and without any democratic legitimation based solely on the dubious provisions of the Patriot Act.
3. You will instruct the FBI, the Homeland Security Office and other agencies in the United States not to trigger a crisis or panic the American people through open or covert actions.
4. You will instruct the CIA not to be involved in covert actions in other countries, triggering international crises or wars.
5. You will not attack Iran, North Korea or any other country with nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction under any pretense.
6. You will instruct your ally Ariel Sharon not to escalate the conflict in the Middle East into a regional war involving weapons of mass destruction.
7. You will go to your history library and learn a lesson from 1933: Another ruler representing the giant drug and oil cartel IG Farben used the destruction by arson of the German parliament, the Reichstag, as a pretense to seize dictatorial power and to drag the entire world into World War II.
8. You will not start World War III as a smoke screen to prevent the demise of the fraudulent drug business. No one will suffer from its collapse. To the contrary, millions of lives will be saved by it.

Respected Leaders and Families Launch 9/11 Truth Statement Demanding Deeper Investigation into the Events of 9/11

NEW YORK CITY, NY (Oct. 26, 2004) - An alliance of 100 prominent Americans and 40 family members of those killed on 9/11 today announced the release of the 911 Truth Statement, a call for immediate inquiry into evidence that suggests high-level government officials may have deliberately allowed the September 11th attacks to occur. The Statement supports an August 31st Zogby poll that found nearly 50% of New Yorkers believe the government had foreknowledge and "consciously failed to act," with 66% wanting a new 9/11 investigation.

Focusing on twelve questions, the Statement highlights areas of incriminating evidence that were either inadequately explored or ignored by the Kean Commission, ranging from insider trading and hijacker funding to foreign government forewarnings and inactive defenses around the Pentagon. The Statement asks for four actions: an immediate investigation by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, Congressional hearings, media analysis, and the formation of a truly independent citizens-based inquiry.

The Statement's list of signatories includes notables spanning the political spectrum, from Presidential candidates Ralph Nader, Michael Badnarik, and David Cobb to Catherine Austin Fitts, a member of the first Bush administration, as well as Washington veterans like Pentagon whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg and retired CIA analyst Ray McGovern. Other signers range from peace activists like Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans and Global Exchange's Kevin Danaher to former US Ambassador and Chief of Mission to Iraq, Edward L. Peck; from environmentalists like Randy Hayes and John Robbins to business leaders such as Paul Hawken and Karl Schwartz, CEO of Patmos Nanotechnologies; from populist journalist Ronnie Dugger to renowned investigative reporter Kelly Patricia O'Meara.

The Statement also includes 43 noted authors, including New York Times #1 bestseller John Gray, as well as 18 eminent professors, historians, and theologians. The Statement was facilitated by 911truth.org, a leading coalition. The Statement

We Want Real Answers About 9/11

On August 31, 2004, Zogby International, the official North American political polling agency for Reuters, released a poll that found nearly half (49.3%) of New York City residents and 41% of those in New York state believe US leaders had foreknowledge of impending 9/11 attacks and "consciously failed" to act. Of the New York City residents, 66% called for a new probe of unanswered questions by Congress or the New York Attorney General.

In connection with this news, we have assembled 100 notable Americans and 40 family members of those who died to sign this 9/11 Statement, which calls for immediate public attention to unanswered questions that suggest that people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war.

We want truthful answers to questions such as:

1. Why were standard operating procedures for dealing with hijacked airliners not followed that day?
2. Why were the extensive missile batteries and air defenses reportedly deployed around the Pentagon not activated during the attack?
3. Why did the Secret Service allow Bush to complete his elementary school visit, apparently unconcerned about his safety or that of the schoolchildren?
4. Why hasn't a single person been fired, penalized, or reprimanded for the gross incompetence we witnessed that day?
5. Why haven't authorities in the U.S. and abroad published the results of multiple investigations into trading that strongly suggested foreknowledge of specific details of the 9/11 attacks, resulting in tens of millions of dollars of traceable gains?
6. Why has Sibel Edmonds, a former FBI translator who claims to have knowledge of advance warnings, been publicly silenced with a gag order requested by Attorney General Ashcroft and granted by a Bush-appointed judge?
7. How could Flight 77, which reportedly hit the Pentagon, have flown back towards Washington D.C. for 40 minutes without being detected by the FAA's radar or the even superior radar possessed by the US military?
8. How were the FBI and CIA able to release the names and photos of the alleged hijackers within hours, as well as to visit houses, restaurants, and flight schools they were known to frequent?
9. What happened to the over 20 documented warnings given our government by 14 foreign intelligence agencies or heads of state?
10. Why did the Bush administration cover up the fact that the head of the Pakistani intelligence agency was in Washington the week of 9/11 and reportedly had $100,000 wired to Mohamed Atta, considered the ringleader of the hijackers?
11. Why did the 911 Commission fail to address most of the questions posed by the families of the victims, in addition to almost all of the questions posed here?
12. Why was Philip Zelikow chosen to be the Executive Director of the ostensibly independent 911 Commission although he had co-authored a book with Condoleezza Rice?

Those who are demanding deeper inquiry now number in the hundreds of thousands, including a former member of the first Bush administration, a retired Air Force colonel, a European parliamentarian, families of the victims, highly respected authors, investigative journalists, peace and justice leaders, former Pentagon staff, and the National Green Party.

As Americans of conscience, we ask for four things:

1. An immediate investigation by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer
2. Immediate investigation in Congressional Hearings.
3. Media attention to scrutinize and investigate the evidence.
4. The formation of a truly independent citizens-based inquiry.

Given the importance of the coming election, we feel it is imperative that these questions be addressed publicly, honestly, and rigorously so that Americans may exercise their democratic rights with full awareness.

In closing, we pray and hope for the strength to approach this subject with wisdom and compassion so that we may heal from the wounds inflicted on that terrible day.

Essay On Vaccine Injury, Homeland Security, and Culpability

If you are still processing shock in the wake of the virtually unanimous passage of the Bush administration’s Homeland Security Bill with its “license to kill” from vaccine injuries without liabilities, you have likely yourself to blame most.

I don’t relish blaming victims, for we have all been victimized by this legislation. But for more than six years, since the publication of Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola—Nature, Accident or Intentional? (Tetrahedron Press, 1996) my colleagues and I tried to alert you to the increasing attacks on health freedoms and human rights directed by special interest groups representing the multi-national military–medical/pharmaceutical–petrochemical cartel. We provided proof of their power over most elected officials, and the mainstream media, but you thought we were delusional.

We predicted unprecedented civil rights violations reflecting past history, international developments, unbridled corporate greed, and ongoing global genocide concomitant with totalitarian legislation. But you turned a deaf ear.

We heralded the “Model State Emergency Health Powers Act” years before it was announced and even showed you documents and official testimonies concerning the “quarantine camps” being established, but you closed your eyes and said we were “paranoid.”

We explained Machiavellian theory in the common political practice of administering “managed chaos”—creating public frights for which expensive solutions had previously been prepared. As an example we solved the anthrax mailings mystery and identified its sole beneficiaries, particularly the British oligarchy-controlled anthrax vaccine maker, Bioport. We provided reams of data proving vaccines deliver biotoxic ingredients leaving recipients chronically ill and virtually enslaved to drug companies and their “life-saving” formulas. But you said this was “inconceivable,” and asked “Don’t you trust any vaccines?”

So you took your children to “medical deities” for “routine childhood immunizations” because “they said it was mandatory,” and you watched your children get sick, if not crippled. Then as you were wondering why you were so trusting, you sought other doctors to prescribe other drugs, made by the subsidiaries of the vaccine manufacturers.

Soon after your child became ill you reached out to leaders in the “vaccine risk awareness” movement to report your grief and horror. They touched your hand, or told you they empathized. They asked that you send them money. Then they professed that most vaccines were “pretty safe.” “Only some vaccines have problems that require our ongoing vigilance,” they assured.

They informed you to beware of those of people like me in the “anti-vaccination” camp. They labeled us “radicals” for our conviction that vaccines were principally made to deliver genocide. The effectively character assassinated our messengers rather than refuting the messages. You shook your head as if to say “how could the ‘radicals’ be so stupid.” Then you gave these leaders and their organizations more money and your volunteered time in support of their outstanding efforts.

One such leader and group comes to mind as an exquisite example. I adequately exposed the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) directed by Barbara Loe Fisher and Kathy Williams in previous writings. This leading “vaccine risk awareness” group’s developmental history documents formidable formative financial and administrative ties to drug industrialists and pharmaceutical lobbyists. When my colleagues and I pointed this out to you, you silenced us and told us to “Stop it! We all need to work together.”

When I then relayed NVIC’s large investment in sponsoring the passage of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, which gave precedent to the Homeland Security Bill’s drug industry indemnity clause, you still would not listened. The “superfund” that was set up for injured families through NVIC collusion with vaccine-makers’ “was a good idea,” you said somewhat unconvinced and unconvincing. The fact that the vast majority of the hundreds of thousands of vaccine-victimized families got nothing more than a bureaucratic shuffle and legal nightmare didn’t alter your optimism toward these “political moderates.” “They put out good information too, from time to time,” you defended.

Then I told you what the Bible says about half truths—“They are complete lies,” I warned. “Unless you are willing to see and expose the ‘big picture,’ the whole truth, including the links between the vaccine makers and the Nazis of I.G. Farben and holocaust fame, you’re misleading people, and your karma will be judged. ‘As you sow, so shall you reap.’” In response you thought, There he goes again with his spiritual speak.

Incredulously you asked, “You can’t possibly believe that all vaccines are bad, do you? They eradicated illnesses didn’t they?”

I replied honestly and affirmatively, “No they didn’t, hygiene and nutritional improvements did.” But you could not accept my rationale.

You heard me tell of my family’s miraculous escape from the Nazis. “They lined millions of ‘sheeple’ up and marched them, with few protesting, to their early demise in the concentration camp gas chambers for allegedly ‘showers.’ Showers for what? ‘Public health’ and ‘disinfection,’” I recalled and continued. “Today’s physicians’ offices, hospitals, and public health units are much like the ‘concentration camps’ of yesteryear, and today’s vaccines are the ‘gas.’ Don’t you get the similarity?”

You said it frightened you, and you preferred not to think about it again.

You told me that although you “really respected” me for what I was doing, “calling the ‘global beast’ a ‘global beast,’” you felt a less politically disturbing option, a more moderate approach, was more appropriate, at least for you.

I begged you to get in touch with the whole horrific truth. Not let fear or denial get in your way. I said the greatest risk to “homeland security” is civilian complacency as we are all being challenged by “white collar terrorists” directing political agendas and public health policies. “They use fear to command compliance with back-room shady dealings that put deadly agendas and profits before people while neglecting the scientific facts,” I explained. A glimmer of light appeared for a moment in your eyes, but you blinked and it was gone.

We finally agreed to disagree and you walked away.

Now, with the passage of the Homeland Security Bill, the most egregious violation of the faith and trust we have placed in our governing officials—a direct physical and financial assault on the American people—maybe you will wake up.

If you haven’t already, please read “Disease Deities on Capitol Hill Address Autism” (Published in The Spirit of Health Newsletter, Fall-Winter 2002, also freely downloadable from www.healingcelebrations.com.), and the complete written testimony I presented to the Government Reform Committee last April. You will see that I warned you about misplaced faith and trust in elected officials in Washington. I even warned our elected officials about this form of pork barrel politics, what amounts to mutual masturbation for financial gratification.

If you had heeded my words, or read my works, you would not be in shock now, nor even mildly surprised by the grave injustice Congress perpetrated by passing this bill. You would understand why even Rep. Dan Burton (R-IN), who chairs the Government Reform Committee hearings into skyrocketing autism rates, voted for the bill. He told us he simply failed to read the last minute inclusions. What a good excuse. He said he knew nothing about the vaccine injury indemnity clause before voting to pass this act. And you still believe him?

You believe him despite your knowledge that he, like many of us, reviewed the CDC-secreted scientific reports linking vaccines and mercury to brain damaged children. Hundreds of thousands of behaviorally impaired youth, Dan Burton bellowed from the dais, have resulted from the now widespread toxicity. Still, he argued, we need to give more money to the CDC to study the problem.

Now that this horrific bill has passed, foreshadowing even more devastating impacts on the nation’s health and civil rights, you lament your loss and the tragedy befalling the medicated masses of children with autism. You think of the time and energy you wasted in futile pursuit of class action lawsuits and legal claims against now fully indemnified vaccine makers. You question your own sanity in this political reality as you find yourself stuck between the rock of disappointment and the hard place of hopelessness.

You lament the additional ramifications of this “license to kill” given to vaccine makers. It dawns on you that this trash legislation not only impacts the millions of young victims of mercury poisoning, but equally guarantees helplessness, if not hopelessness, for those struggling, now and in future years, with myriad cancers attributed to polio vaccine viral contaminations; for Gulf War Syndrome victims made ill by vaccines and drug interactions; for military personnel recently inoculated with anthrax vaccine with up to 85% made ill; for more than a hundred thousand Lyme vaccine injured people; for claimants who cite recent studies that will soon prove early hepatitis B vaccines triggered the international AIDS pandemic; and for the millions of forthcoming smallpox vaccine injured persons who you are told to accept as simply unfortunate casualties of America’s new war.

Finally, did you know that the opposition’s effort to strip the bill of this disgusting provision fell short by only 5 votes. The final tally was 52-47.

In my humble opinion, if you had spent the last six years researching the facts available to you, not pandering to deceitful politicians but confronting them, including self-proclaimed industry-financed “leaders” of the “vaccine risk awareness” movement, or playing political games/pussy-footing around the issues so as not to offend people with news of vaccination injuries as they reflect well orchestrated global genocide, you might have been able to persuade enough people in your sphere of influence to effectively pressure one more politician each year for six years to stand against this Bill.

But, instead, you preferred to live in denial about the “big political picture” that includes genocide. With your justifications and rationalizations you get to be right in perceiving me as “radical,” if not “insane.”

Now congress has passed the Homeland Security Bill, and you remain numbed by the weight of your personal contribution to this premeditated and exposed conspiratorial outcome. Is there any comfort now in your tormented reflection on how you once called me a “foolish conspiracy theorist?” You have now no one more than yourself to blame.
